Hello beautiful souls,
September arrives with an invitation to come back to center.
As summer begins its slow transition toward autumn, there is a natural shift happening around us. The days begin to shorten, the light changes, and nature reminds us that growth isn’t always about doing more. Sometimes growth asks us to simplify, listen, release, and make space for what is becoming.
Energetically, September carries a beautiful combination of grounding, recalibration, reflection, and forward movement.
We begin the month in Virgo season, an earth-sign energy traditionally associated with tending to the details of our lives—our routines, our bodies, our environments, and the ways we care for ourselves.
This isn’t about perfection.
It’s about asking:
What is actually supporting me?
What am I doing simply because I’ve always done it?
Where could I make my life a little gentler?
🌑 The September New Moon — Reset & Recalibrate
The New Moon arrives late September 10 Pacific time, offering a natural energetic checkpoint for intention and renewal.
Virgo energy can remind us that transformation doesn’t always require a dramatic leap.
Sometimes it begins with one small choice.
Drink the water.
Take the walk.
Say no when your body says no.
Rest without earning it first.
Clear one corner of your home.
Turn your phone off for an hour.
Sit outside and breathe.
Small acts of alignment, repeated consistently, can create profound change.
🍂 The Autumn Equinox — Finding Balance
Later in the month, we arrive at the Autumn Equinox on September 22, when we symbolically move through a gateway of balance between light and darkness.
The Equinox can be a beautiful time to reflect on your own internal balance.
Where have you been giving too much?
Where do you need to receive?
What are you ready to harvest from everything you’ve experienced this year?
And what are you ready to leave behind as you move into the darker, quieter months?
You don’t have to carry everything into the next season with you.
🌕 September 26 Full Moon — Illumination & Courage
September closes its major lunar cycle with the Full Moon on September 26.
Full moons traditionally invite illumination, culmination, and release. This Full Moon falls in Aries, bringing themes of individuality, courage, action, and honoring the self.
There can be a powerful question here:
Where have I been abandoning myself to keep the peace?
Being compassionate doesn’t require disappearing.
Being loving doesn’t mean having no boundaries.
And choosing yourself doesn’t mean you don’t care about others.
Sometimes the most loving thing we can do—for ourselves and everyone around us—is become very clear about what belongs to us and what does not.
💚 A Few Ways to Be Good to You This Month
Give yourself permission to slow down before your body demands it.
Spend a few minutes outside without needing to accomplish anything.
Notice where your nervous system feels settled—and where it doesn’t.
Create space between receiving information and reacting to it.
Move your body in ways that feel nourishing rather than punishing.
Remember that boundaries are also a form of self-care.
And perhaps most importantly:
You are allowed to change.
Something that was right for you six months ago may not be right for you today. Growth sometimes means recognizing that an old version of yourself has completed its work.
Honor them.
Thank them.
And keep becoming.

💜 A Final September Reminder
You don’t need to have everything figured out.
You don’t need to know exactly where the next chapter leads before you take the next step.
Your body speaks.
Your intuition speaks.
Your energy speaks.
Sometimes our work is simply becoming quiet enough to hear them.
As we move from summer toward autumn, may you give yourself permission to release what has become heavy, nurture what is growing, and trust the wisdom of your own unfolding.
I hope our paths cross somewhere this September.
With love and gratitude,
Jen
